This palm is very saught after due to its Air Purifying and Toxin removing properties as well as its ease of care. This makes it a good fit for an indoor plant. The attractive appearance of this Palm is made up of light green fronds that have a unique texture that is loved by interior decorators.
Although the Parlour Palm can tolerate shade, bright indirect light would encourage the development of small yellow flowers in mature plants. Parlour Palm are slightly better at handling light than Areca Palms.
Parlour Palms should have plenty of drainage; standing water will cause root rot. The soil should not be left to dry out as well. Fertilize your Parlour Palm every couple of weeks and don't fertilize in the winter / dormant season.
